[Tutorial] Downgrading Galaxy ACE from CM7 to Gingerbread

Many People faced too many bugs on CM7 so they want to downgrade their ACEs.

Follow rules properly.

First download flash files here. password - ekache99 ,Now start you 

galaxy ace in downloading mode

First switch off your galaxy ace and press together (power + home + volume 

down) keys and wow your galaxy ace is in downloading mode. Remove your SD 

card. Now open downloaded archive and there will be a application "Odin Multi 

Downloader v4.38.exe" open it, connect your Galaxy ace in downloading mode. 

Odin will show com port after you connect your Ace.

 After that can you see a option OPS in odin ya that one click it

and locate "Cooper_v1.0.ops" in flash files.

Click on BOOT and locate

"APBOOT_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5".

 Click Phone and locate

"MODEM_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03.tar.md5".

Click PDA and locate

 "CODE_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5".

Click CSC and locate

"CSC_S5830SERKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5"

No need to do anything with EFS leave it blank.

Click start.

Till your phone is flashed take a 5 minute nap.

And when you wake up you will see your phone is started with

android 2.3.4

Now you can Install Official Gingerbread on This ROM or anything like FirstUA or Anyting can be Installed on this ROM.

Downgrade Galaxy Ace to Android 2.2.1

Hi,

Many of you didn't liked great features of Android 2.3.4

So so many of you want to downgrade your phone.

I do not recommend downgrading to 2.2.1 because this features will be taken away from you:

In 2.2.1  to change screen layout horizontal in apps you need to shake your phone too hard.

While in 2.3.4 screen calibrates horizontal very easily.

2) You will no more take videos at 480p 640 x 480 @ 30 fps.

In 2.2.1 video shooting is at QVGA 320 x 240 @ 15 fps.

3) You will no longer play angry birds smoothly. And other games too.

4) Processing will be slower.

5)So many apps from android market will be gone away.

Are you ready to lose all this features than Follow this steps.

Start.

1) Download Cooper.ops

2) Download This 2.2.1 firmware here(Do not download any other firmware or your phone will be bricked).

And extract the archive. Password is samfirmware.com

3) Download ODIN 4.38 here

4) Make sure you installed Samsung Kies.

5) Open Odin

6) Start Galaxy Ace in Download Mode:

Shut down your phone and press (Power + Home + Volume Down)

buttons together for 5 seconds.

7) Connect your galaxy ace to PC and Odin will show com pot in

yellow color.

8) Press OPS button and locate cooper.ops you downloaded.

9) Press BOOT and locate APBOOT_ file in firmware files.

10) Press Phone and locate MODEM_ file in firmware files.

11) Press PDA and locate CODE_ file in firmware files.

12) Press CSC and locate CSC_ file in firmware files.

13) Do not play with any option in ODIN or else you may end up making your phone dead.

14) Press start and within 5 minutes you phone will be flashed to android 2.2.1 but its in Chinese language so

you need to flash to English firmware.

15) When your phone starts with 2.2.1 shut it down and again start it in downloading mode.

16) Connect it to Odin and Odin will show com port.

17) Download this original firmware which you got with your

galaxy ace here and extract archieve. Password - samfirmware.com

18) Now in Odin put a tick on "One Package" and then all options will be hidden.

Press Ops and locate "Cooper.ops"

19) Now press One Package and locate "S5830DDKC1_S5830DDKC1_S5830ODDKC1_HOME.tar"

file in the new firmware you downloaded.

20) Press Start and within five minutes you will get your phone the

way you bought your phone first time.


(Do not Flash with this firmware directly or else your phone will be bricked hard, follow all steps carefully)
