[How to] to use GPRS/3G on Cyanogen Mod 7

Many people complained about 3G/GPRS problem in Cyanogen MOD 7.

Here is a way to enable 3G in CM7.

If you have flashed CM7 and using it right now than:

1) Factory Reset Phone!

2) Restart Phone.

3) When phone starts Fresh New, It asks for Google Account Setup. (Skip this setup.)

4) Now before doing any setting, Your first aim should be to configure APN.

5) When you configure APN properly before doing any other settings, Your 3G/GPRS will start.

Here I give some APN settings I know.

1) First Go to Settings/Wireless and Network/Mobile Network/APN

2) Now here are some settings I know.

* Airtel :-

Name - Airtel

APN - airtelgprs.com

Authentication - None

IPv4

* Vodafone :-

Name - Vodafone

APN - portalnms

Authentication - None

IPv4

* Idea :-

Name - Idea

APN - Internet

Authentication - None

IPv4

* Tata Docomo :-

Name - TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
